I'm very sceptical of this. Very sceptical.

Guess who posted this? :D

DO NOT BUY AN ANDROID DEVICE! I warn you! I bought Galaxy S4 beacuse I looked better than iPhone 5 on paper. It has a nice camera (I think GS4's camera is better than iPhone 5 but iPhone 5S' camera is better than gs4) but it's oversized. It's nearly impossible to use it with one hand. Android is really slow and laggy. Android updates are just horrible! You have to wait for months to get an update. Most apps in Google play are really awfull. 3/4 apps are scam and full of viruses. I wanted to download Facebook App and I saw 30 fake apps! Also Android will slow down over time and it will be worthless.

I realised windows is the probably worst OS ever. Doing daily tasks on Windows 7 and Windows 8 is such a pain!

Why? Because I don't like Android right?

:D

According to this forum, my S3 is supposed to have about 50 viruses on it, crash constantly, and baffle me with its incomprehensible UI.

I haven't used Galaxy S3 but I have used Galaxy S4, yes it sometimes crashes and UI is not the best Android UI but I haven't got a virus yet.

My post had very little to do with you and more the behavior of other people on this website and across the internet. There are fanboys on both sides and they are both guilty of mouthing- or typing-off at each other; be it opinions, misinformation or facts they are hurling at one another.

The ironic thing, the more you post claiming Android and Windows fans are immature and focusing the posts on yourself, the more you're making yourself look immature (and an Apple fanboy). Especially with quote OllyW posted.

Take this as you will. I'm just saying what I see here.

OK, it was too radical but it was true

  1. Camera of GS4 is less succesful than 5S' camera and I think it's still better than iPhone 5's camera
  2. Please tell me how you use a 5'' display with one hand
  3. I only used Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy S4 so, I don't know about Sense or Stock UI but Touchwiz is really that slow and buggy
  4. Android updates are really that horrible. My Galaxy Note 10.1 is still running Jelly Bean
  5. Most Google Play apps are lower-quality than App Store apps
  6. It won't be wortless but at least Samsung devices slow down overtime.

Not really, yes I don't like Android and tons of Apple fans don't like it. But, I do not go on Android websites, or articles and write ''Apple FTW'', ''Android sucks'', ''Android users are stupid'', this is what I call immature. If they say ''I don't like iPhone because it's screen is too small'' or ''I don't like Apple because it's too expensive'' this is not immature, it's showing your thoughts with a logical way. I am not against these Android users, I am against Android users who write things like ''Android FTW''. Are there these kind of people in Apple side? Yes of course, but the reason of I wrote ''Android and Windows users'' is because of I see them more often. Seriously please go to a random tech site (Not a Android-based or Apple-based), and write ''Apple sucks'' on one of the Articles and write ''Android / Windows sucks'' on another Article compare how many likes you got. Seriously, please try it.

You think. Opinion.

Please tell me how you use a 5'' display with one hand
Have bigger hands or use two hands. Both of which some people may be fine with.

I only used Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy S4 so, I don't know about Sense or Stock UI but Touchwiz is really that slow and buggy

Not really a huge issue in my opinion since older Android versions are supported and can often run the vast majority of new apps. The updates are horrible, in your opinion.

Most Google Play apps are lower-quality than App Store apps

It won't be wortless but at least Samsung devices slow down overtime.
And Apple devices don't? Go see for yourself how many people using an iPhone 4 experienced slowdown with every OS update it got.

I. I. I. Me. Me. Me. I've seen this and I've seen that.
This is the very point I'm trying to make. You are expressing your opinions as facts when the topic at large apparently has very little to do with you. And I've been on the internet long enough to realize the both sides are just as guilty. You clearly haven't. And in the process, you're becoming the very thing you're complaining about. Not mature enough to understand that people have differing opinions and that many of those people take to the internet to express them.

Android has a better keyboard available, so it makes arguing with strangers easier. I can troll in any language with Android. Android is better:D:D:D

Yes! These are my opinions and I am not talking about it. This thread is about ''immature comments''. When I say ''I don't like Android because, 3rd part support is important for me'' or ''I don't like iPhone because it's display is too small'' it's an opinion (It has a reason) and I respect people saying these kind of things. What I was talking about is people who write ''Android FTW'', ''Apple sux'' and things like that in every single article about Apple. And why I said ''Android / Windows fans'' is I see more Android / Windows users bashing Apple than Apple users bashing Android / Windows. I haven't seen an Apple user who writes ''Apple FTW'' or ''Android is stupid'' on every Android article. It's the conservation on this threat.

And pretty much everyone in this thread has told you that it isn't just Android and Windows fans that do this. By constantly complaining that you're [Apple fans] the victim and painting all Android/Windows users with the same brush, you're coming across as rather immature yourself. Especially when you have some rather strong posts yourself that throw opinions round like they're facts.

You may have not seen it. I have. I mean do you seriously think there is a direct correlation between which smartphone you use and your maturity? Really?

OK, I will tell it simple.
  1. Go a random tech forum (that is not Apple or Android based)
  2. Create a new thread and tell Apple sucks and don't give any reason
  3. Create another thread and say Android sucks and give some reasons
  4. Wait until you get responds and compare results

Somewhere over the rainbow
Some of us are passionate about our choices, but to whatever extent, we all have opinions about the devices we choose to use and the companies that make them.

Some of us choose a single platform and/or company, some of us mix it up for various purposes.

The fact that companies compete is a win-win situation for us, the consumers.

What amazes me is that people care so much about what others think and write about their choices. Granted, sometimes you want to add to a discussion to balance what you feel might be misleading for people who are in the process of making a choice. But getting worked up about or bickering with people with whom you don't agree just doesn't make sense.

We're not discussing world peace after all, no fatal choices will be made. :p

Once you hate someone, everything they do is repulsive. When I was younger I thought macs were stupid, and then a few years later got a mac and thought windows was stupid. Then I got a smartphone and my $40/month cell company only had android phones when the $80/month companies had iPhones - and I watched my fellow mac users call android users peasants and poor people and treat them like crap.

Then I realized being a zealot is pretty screwed up. These days I have macs, windows machines (including a surface pro!), android devices, and iOS devices. I'm happy with, and enjoy all of them quite a bit. You guys should stop being idiots fighting on the internet about stuff that doesn't even matter and just enjoy it all.

No. Posting threads like that is doing nothing but encouraging such behaviour and proves nothing. Ad hoc results are irrelevant.

For example, for the sake of argument, let's say you're right. More Android users post one word "immature" responses to debates online. How does that prove Android users are less immature? It doesn't. The possibilities are endless.
It could be that more argumentative adolescents use Android than an iPhone.
It could be that people who use an iPhone don't go online as much as Android users.
It could be that the time it is posted, more Android users were online than iPhone users.
It could be that simply more people use Android, thus more immature support.
It could be Android users wanting to prove that iPhone users are immature and are trying to get them riled up by posting ignorant posts, just like what you've told me to do.

Your so called evidence proves nothing. Especially when it literally does the exact same of the very thing you're complaining about in this thread. 0/10.
