iPad Pro why can't i buy an apple smart CASE for the new iPad pro 10.5?

They really ruffled quite a few feathers by not offering any type of back protection. We want a good high quality case for our $800.00 tablets! Do they really want their gorgeous product going inside of a cheapo case?

No, they want you to purchase a more expensive keyboard cover as well as a leather sleeve, silly.
 
Back cases take away the enjoyment of holding an iPad in your hands. Get a cheap $10 sleeve to put the iPad in to protect the back. I've been a Smart Cover + Sleeve guy since 2011.

A sleeve does not protect the iPad if you are using it and drop it. I have dropped mine several times. I need a back cover.
 
I feel they didn't do a smart case because of the price they would charge for it.

I'm in Canada so I'll use Canadian prices.

The Air 2 Smart case was $99 here. Now the Pro 10.5 leather Smart Cover alone is $99. You get less than half the case for the same price. It's ridiculous. So if they were to have a smart case my assumption is it would be close to $179ish. Then everyone would complaining about the huge price increase.

Apple man. They absolutely tear us up on prices now.

Never understand the point of cover only that protects just the screen, it's the back of the iPad that's so slippy you need a case to hold it comfortably.

But i can't seem to find it on the apple store, all i see is the cover only that protects the screen but leave everything else exposed. Or that leather folder thing, where the iPad is unusable after placed inside.

what gives?

How, pray tell, does one use an iPad when it's inside the sleeve? I said that a sleeve wouldn't protect while I USE the iPad. I didn't say that a sleeve can't/won't protect the iPad.
