Why can't they build a dust-free phone!!!

Before I switched to a BB Bold, I had dust underneath my 3G and 3Gs screens - never noticed on my 1st generation iPhone though....

It kind of bugged me and I got a couple replaced, but what I learned is that dust is inevitable - especially if you are keeping it in your lint/dust/dirty pockets.

Just something to live with....

No more dust with BBs? With the exception of the storm their screens are much smaller, may help ...

It's not about anal-retentiveness. It's about expected quality of a $799 piece of hardware. If that doesn't do anything for you then...

i must agree with this my 2g was great - no screen problems at all

my 3g however has a pretty good size lint piece right in the middle of the damn screen - i dont care about the small dust particles that i can see when the phone is off but if its really visible its a pain when you looking at pictures and see a white speck in the middle of them.

anybody know if this kind of thing is covered underr warranty?

To the third poster who mentioned floaters, I have those and they drive me nuts. They are not fun.
