MS will likely make their ARM based version of Windows 10 available including an x86 and x64 code translation environment. They already have that on other systems.

i honestly cannot see microsoft releasing it to the public. Had Apple ever made Mac OS available to the public? Never! So i believe that microsoft will do an apple and only ship windows for arm through OEMs

It should be technically possible. And it wold be completely useless. The resulting machine would be very expensive, bulky, hot, dead slow and crappy in all regards imaginable. Just buy a PC. Will work better and be cheaper.

You read my mind. I was thinking about this.

Apple doesn't need to provide an integrated processor. As long as they provide an integration interface to virtualize x86 with an Intel Compute stick or something like a Xeon Phi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeon_Phi), you could in theory send the virtualization commands to the Intel processor and render the window with the Mac's integrated video card.

I suppose a third party could also program this interface, and it shouldn't be too hard for the guys that already know how to code a virtual machine (e.g, QEMU programmers).

probably concentrated amongst the ones who buy the higher end pro machines - I would rather pay extra for an extra chip which runs windows etc for the occasional use than have to buy a separate machine
They spent a lot of time selling bootcamp as a feature so to go cold turkey on that, is a bit odd
They spent way more time selling AirPort base stations. When Apple decides to dead-end a thing, they dead-end it.
