In the Jewish calendar is's something like year 5774 I believe.

Anyway it goes back a long way so some of the older users like me can put our birthdates in :eek:

My i phone 5s goes as far back as 4717BC before the phone crashes ive tested it a few times even scrolling for longer each time and get the same reslult

It's more than coincidence. A large number of people believe in young earth creationism, and that the earth is approximately somewhere between 6000 and 10,000 years old. Jewish people have been keeping track of years since the generation of Adam. Currently, by that estimation, we are in year 5777, a difference of 956 years. It could be that Apple is more correct, since they invented the original Mac computer, the iPod, iPad and iPhone. And with Steve Jobs origins in San Francisco, his involvement with LSD, Zen Buddhism and formation of Pixar, he could have been onto something.
