Why Did You Choose 256GB over 128GB? (disregarding i7)

well, actually this question can have a million different answers, there will be no ending to as why people choose 256 or 128,

the most important thing is you decide what you want the space for, if you dont mind on using the 2.0 USB for external storage transfer which is obviously slower than the SSD, then 128 is good, save the cost as well to buy your external HD

as for me, i will be going for 256 because:

-Boot Camp for Windows, at least 80gb + EvE Online
-Movies/Anime/Music for traveling entertainment, at least 100gb for it

that leaves me roughly 70gb ( Including Lion OSX ) which then i only have around 50ish gb clear storage

for me, that is pretty tight, with 128, i will never have the space to do this

so yeah

I was gonna get the 256 GB version, then I realised that it is 2011 and I can stream most of it from home anyway and got the 128 GB version, because:

- I use Spotify for music
- Can't fit my movie library no matter size (It's many TB not GB)
- Windows was dodgy on my MBP and made it hot like hell due to bad fan control, doubt the MBA will be different, so gaming will be done mainly on another computer.

People who are justifying an extra $300 for 128gb to store media content are foolish. You can set up a 4tb NAS and remote access your media content with $100 to spare.

Well you just convinced me to go for the 128gb. I guess it is time to get a NAS and move my media there. I'm fighting a losing battle against an ever growing photo and music library any way.

On my original MBA (1st generation) it says I have 79 gb with 55 gb free.
I use cloud storage for my files..
I think I will be more than ok with 128 gb
