Riddle me this: Are iPhones - including black ones - actually marketed to anyone who lives in any other place, anywhere, or in any other country, than are found in the desert conditions of some southern US states?Hi
Why do people like the color black on an iPhone ? isn't the color black on iPhone more prone to overheating in the summer months especially if you live in the desert south west like extreme southern California Arizona border nv and Phoenix area ? then other color iPhone
I wanted black on my 17PM. Decided on silver as I did not want orange or dark blue. I have never even considered a colored device. I always slip a thin case on my phone to prevent scratches and give it some grip.
Choices are always good so Apple is always offering colors for those who prefer.
Black is not a color. It is the absence of color.
I see this too. The same guys refuse to drive anything other than a pick up truck (or maybe a larger SUV). It doesn't matter what their needs are or what they use it for, they must own a truck. Subscribing to societal masculine norms for no reason other than how random people view you is very strange.I’ve known plenty of guys who likely got black just because if they chose a color like blue or green they would likely get teased by their friends. I don’t understand it, but I think that sentiment exists.
That definition of black is quite something.![]()

Seriously, it really doesn’t matter if you put a case on it, which you can pick almost any color.
What?I don't understand why anyone has to explain why they like what they like. It's all preference. There are things you like that others don't like. It's just our nature. I could write an essay to explain why I like the color black BUT if that color is not your preference then it won't matter to you.
With all that said, I like black because, to me, it's a neutral color. It is not flashy. It blends in pretty much everywhere.
I was forced!What?
No body has to explain themselves, or were you forced to post a comment in this thread?
You’re last two sentences would have been enough, no one asked for more, and probably not even OP would read that assay.
