I just got a new nano texture MBP and there is no issue on that as well as there wasn't any on the M1 MBP that it replaced. Both straight from Apple customized. They come flawless out of the box although I don't use a flashlight to go hunt for problems, either I notice it during regular use or it's not a problem anyways.

Why does nobody talk about the micro damages in the screens of the new M-series Macbook Pro?

My new 14" PB had weird shiny marks close to the rubber gasket on both sides. I was able to remove most of it with a soft cloth. I believe it was some kind of glue. I did a search and found a few people on Reddit with a similar issue. I also noticed a slight gap between the gasket and the metal edge although I am not sure if this is normal.
