Yeah, it's most likely something with the Sierra beta OS versions I'm running. 1P is installed in the Applications folder, and has worked flawlessly for years... up until a few beta versions ago, when it simply stopped showing up in Spotlight. It still functions perfectly fine, but in order for me to launch the app, I actually have to put it in the Dock, or go up under the menubar icon as opposed to just tapping Command+Space and typing 1p as I previously did.

I have the same issue on both MBP and iMac (both running the same versions of 1P and macOS Sierra betas.

I had to experiment. I began removing icons from the menu bar, rebooting and watching for the 1P disappearance. It took removing a few for the menu bar to retain 1P. But there is no explanation of why ONLY 1P is so sensitive in the menbar. None of the other icons have menu bar issues.

Is this under High Sierra (10.13) or Sierra (10.12)?

17,1 iMac, Sierra 10.12.5
Just checking this morning and there is STILL NO 1P LOGO in the menubar.
The only icons I have turned on in menubar:
CCC
GoogleDrive
Moom
Keyboard
Spotlight
Disk Eject
Siri
Name
TM
Scritps

Can you post a screenshot? Ideally with 1Password's main app open with the Preferences for General displayed while the icon is missing in the menu bar please. You can do this with 1Password locked so as to not display any sensitive data. You're also welcome to message it to me directly instead of in this thread.

Can you please show the entire screen? I'm curious about the menu bar at the top the most, the full menu bar from the left side all the way to the right. I believe there's a fairly simple explanation for this, and as they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Since you earlier wanted the 1P preferences to show I had to find 1P in my application folder and double click to startup, because over time, 1P DOES NOT STAY IN THE MENUBAR. So in the image I provide now, you will see the 1P icon in menubar. BUT over 24 hours or two or three days, it will disappear once again as usual.

My question is, why should I have to shut down most of my menubar icons just for 1P? I have never run on so small amount of menubar icons in several years of using a Mac. No application ICON has ever given an issue to my menubar except for 1P.

That's unfortunate as I was looking for when the icon was not visible :(

Could you update me here when it is not showing with another screenshot?

Also, when that happens open Activity Monitor and do a search for "1Pass" in the top right of the Activity Monitor. Does it show 1Password mini running when the icon is not displaying?

OK, it should be a day or two. Appreciate your patience.

Will you be specific as to where I am looking for "1Pass" in Activity Monitor? I don't see it anywhere in Activity Monitor w 1P in the menubar. Where do I look when it isn't in menubar?

Solution: CleanMyMac cleans out many unnecessary files. At times I have cleaned 6GB of unnecessary files. I have stopped cleaning 1P plist and 1P cache files. I do not touch any 1P files in Sierra. 1P continues to function upon rebooting following any cleaning.

So all this time, you were causing the problems yourself by deleting the plist files without realising that they are the preference files for the app ?
I am bemused by your problems being caused by naivety, however it does fit in with my first impressions of you. :p
Good luck, and just remember to not delete the plist file unless you are removing or reinstalling the app from scratch, ok ?

Glad to hear you got it figured out.

Cleaning tools tend to do more damage than they help prevent in my experience. Also, turns out it was removing necessary files, not unnecessary files :)
