I don't get the Watch Nike +. Is it going to have all the features of Watch 2? Can you switch out bands? Why have it? no extra hardware needed for run app. Am I missing something?
.Apple said:Designed specifically for Apple Watch, these faces feature Nike’s iconic Volt color and boldly display the time in both digital and analog styles. There’s also a permanent complication for launching the Nike+ Run Club app.
Is there *any* chance they won't make the app otherwise available to the rest of us? That would seem...shortsighted, no?
If the app can be had on any watch, not sure why you'd buy the Nike version unless you reeeeeeeally loved the bands and case.

I'm also not sure about this. I run a LOT, so the Nike watch face might be nice, but not if I somehow have to tie in to a Nike run club. Really not clear on the exact difference. Oh well, I plan to order one.
The Nike version adds a complication for the Nike+ app in every face (in every-every face, or just in every Nike-branded face?). Makes it more convenient to set up and launch. So far in my limited research, it's just the band correct? A specific Nike watch face... not so sure i'd wait just for that. As long as the two are identical outside the band, i'll get the normal Aluminum series 2 Watch.
Silly question I want to buy the Apple Nike sport but are all the faces say Nike+ on the screen? Or can they act like a normal sport Apple watch?Nike did something similar last year when the Garmin Forerunner 235 was released. Nike was selling a version of the 235 that had a special colored band (actually identical to this Apple Watch 2 band with the volt green color on the underside of the black top) on their web site. Otherwise there was no difference to the same watch being sold elsewhere.
While I am interested in the Nike band I'm not sure I want to wait a month just for the band. I suspect the band alone will be available for sale in the near future or at least some third party knockoff will be available shortly.
Well it's not like it costs any more, so you don't have to reeeeeally like it, just mildly prefer it to the regular sport model (which is no longer called sport I guess). It's a modest cosmetic difference for no additional cost. But whichever look you like better I guess. If the app can be had on any watch, not sure why you'd buy the Nike version unless you reeeeeeeally loved the bands and case.
The watch has a PERMANENT Nike complication. I assume that means you cannot remove it from the watch face? That I am afraid is a bit poo. I am undecided between the two watches when I upgrade.
Series 2 (totally customisable as I want it) or Nike edition (app - probably stuck with a crap app when there may be better out there)
The Nike volt green and black strap is awesome though.
Dilemma.
