earth, for now.
Here are the reasons why I love the iPad.

As mentioned by many before me, here is why I love the iPad.

1. The Gorgeous display. The Touch interface. The iPhone OS.

2. WiFi + 3G

3. It is great for Surfing, Chatting, Emails, and MANY MANY MANY More.

4. It runs MOST All 140,000 iPhone/iPod Apps.

4a. My Favorite few Apps are:

JAADU VNC - this is the BEST app, I have ever seen. I like how seemless it works. The rendering is amazing, fast and brilliant. It's just the best. Jaaduvnc.com if anyone wants to see a VIDEO Of what I am talking about.

ORB Live - It's an online acct with orb.com, and an Application on your Mac (or god forbid, PC lol!! jk) which allows you to stream all of your content thru the internet and onto your iPhone/iPod.

mMail Box - Allows me to access my Hotmail + other accts. Has many many features. Works great.

Those are just a few I'm hoping to get on the iPad.

:)

Also, the iPad has an outstanding Battery life. 10 friggin hours - that is mind blowing!

With my Macbook Pro (13") that I got last summer, I've been able to run the battery to nearly 9.5 hrs.. and thats crazy!

Anyways, those are just a few REASONS Why Im excited for the iPad. :)

I will say the iPad is growing on me. We shall see. My only question is why did apple put the volume controls on the opposite side as the iPhone. That's gonna throw me off.

WOW, I nearly fell outta my chair. I read tons of posts on the 27th and gotta say yours stood out to the negative side to say the least. This thing is freaking magical!! lol :p

I never thought I would see any words like this attached to your name. That damn SJ and his unicorn dust...

Just got this last week, absolutely love it and see it working even better on the iPad than my iPhone just due to the larger screen. However I am having issues getting it to work over 3g/remotely. Not to derail the thread but if you have had success using it, would love to hear suggestions of what's going wrong. Basically I get a message "cannot connect, check firewall settings etc.." I have no firewall setting, running cable modem to Airport Extreme to my iMac.

agreed, the screenshot thing can work, I have done this on my iPod touch in the past but with a small screen to save the whole web page would take several screen shots and some would overlap each other (ie content at the bottom of one image is at the top of the next) making it a tad confusing and far from ideal.

Now with the larger screen of the iPad this should be easier to do, however still not the best approach, it is a work around right now but having to save 3 seperate images for one page and getting overlapping data in the images is no where near as easy or convenient as a 'save to pdf' option in a safari menu.
