About a couple of months into owning a white Macbook, I was wishing I had gone black. There's just no way to avoid the staining of the topcase on the white Macbook, other than buying a skin, and why should anyone have to do that?

It's a computer. It should be able to withstand the riggers of daily use.

The BlackBook is overly sensitive to moisture/grease from skin, it looks dirty after handling it once so you won't be happy with that.

I can see why NOBODY is buying them.
Trolling aside, what are you basing this assumption on?

Apple doesn't give a breakdown on the shipped MB units by enclosure colour, just as it didn't give breakdowns for the coloured iMacs etc. etc. So care to say how you know nobody is buying them???

Hmmmm, I think the OP wants the black but does not want to pay the $ so therefore NOBODY is buying the blackbook ;)
