Looks like you can with the new miniLED. It’s display especially showing blacks is looking to be exceptional. Was personally hoping for less glowing reviews so I wasn’t feeling temptation to replace my 2018 12.9…even though I just replaced my MacBook Pro with a MacBook Air ?

Waiting for it to come to 11” iPads, 12” are too big for me, as I carry it with me for work. ?

One major problem with online SMS is there are issues using them with short code. Majority of text messages I receive are just 2FA codes for banking.
Yeah, that’s why having iPad able to receive such codes is awesome.

Yep. Pretty much the primary reason I'm still on iPhone is due to NumberSync/iMessage/SMS forwarding.

Thankfully, the iPhone SE2 was released when my iPhone 7 was dying. It's almost perfect for my needs. Only thing missing is 5G support. Not for uber fast speeds but to help with congestion so it doesn't feel like I'm on dial-up.

I agree
I was gonna get the Air at first but went with a 11” Pro. I’m by no means a Pro at anything ?

a 256GB iPad Air is £730 and a 256GB 11” Pro is £850. if you are happy with 128GB then a Pro is a no brainer cause it’s only £20 more than the 256 Air. I suppose that’s why Apple don’t offer a 128GB Air…

I went the Pro cause for an extra £120 i felt it was good value cause the Pro has a higher refresh rate display, better camera, M1 chip, double the RAM, thunderbolt, and face id.

to go up to a 12.9” iPad it’s an extra £250…just for mini led and 1.9” bigger screen. Can’t justify that! Also, if you want 16GB i’d need to pay an extra £550 even though i dont need 1TB. For a 12.9” 1TB it’s an extra £800. I don’t think it’s worth paying the premium for 12.9” and/or 16GB.
I agree. Have the 18 12.9 and I don’t do anything “pro” on it. I’ll be upgrading next Gen, maybe the 16GB will be on the 512 as well, and I can’t wait for an upgraded magic keyboard.

Yeah, they really need a 12.9" iPad Air. Or at least 12". I think they should take in the bezels some more on the iPad Pros and make the big one 13.3".
