This is clearly not true. Apple has already demonstrated with the iMac Pro that it is willing and able to redesign internals to improve cooling without redesigning externals.
where did i said imac pro? the 2017 i7 imac (since imac pro doesnt even have i7) runs hot,so the imac needs an redesign in and out (apple could place the same thermal design from imac pro) so pay attention

You misunderstand my point. You are saying that Apple needs to redesign the iMac inside and out in order to solve the thermal challenges. I am saying that the iMac Pro is evidence that Apple is able to improve thermal performance by doing only an internal redesign without an outside redesign.

Like i said, i don't understand why you are keeping the imac pro in here (the imac pro is ok,T2 chip, all ssd etc)...i am talking about the normal imac, the current last gen imac with i7 is running hot... (remember imac pro using ONLY xeon) needs redesign inside out
Doesn't matter if they take the imac pro route for the inside, the bottom line is that the imac needs an redesign in(its a must), and out if possible
So even if they dont take the imac pro to make it all ssd, and keep it friendly cost with fusion still, needs something

It blows my mind that apple refuses to come out with a redesign for the iMac. The disgusting thick bezels and archaic internals with the single fan, non all flash architecture, 5400 HD options, awful pixilating front facing camera etc etc. The iMac is my favorite computer but I refuse to buy it until it is redesigned with much thinner or no bezels and some more compelling features ie face id, much better front facing camera, HDR, T2 or T3 chip etc. When will a redesign happen?
Wow I'm in the same boat. I've waiting 2 years. My 2013 iMac is getting too slow so have to break down. So getting one today **** so mad. If the redesign anytime this year I will go crazy.

It's definitely time for "the chin" to go.
The entire thing could and should be "behind the screen" at this point.
