Aleksm macrumors newbie Original poster Sep 11, 2016 #1 I live in Canada. I saw an iPhone 6s locked to sprint which is blacklisted for 200$ (a fraction of a non blacklisted price). Will this phone work in Canada if I carrier unlock it. In other words, does the sprint blacklist affect it in Canada?

The carriers are pretty bad about sharing IMEIs to the international blacklist. That said, your bigger issue is the unlock. Sprint is not going to unlock it for you and I know of no third party service (that I have yet heard of) that can do a Sprint unlock. If you are looking to buy this phone because it costs less…than this is why it costs less.
