Will AirPods Max be available for in-store pickup on and after 12/15?

I wonder what was so special about blue that no one has it in stock. It seems like silver and grey are most popular but green and pink weren’t hard to find this morning.
Picked up a set of blue from Apple Michigan Ave, and they said it was the only one they've even seen!
London - Bentalls and Bromley have SG Available for walk in tomorrow morning assuming reservations don’t go live overnight.
How are you guys picking these up? I rang and they said I couldn’t just rock up and have to make an appointment on Thursday! Wth!
Got there, joined the queue, they asked if I had an appointment and I said no, told them I wanted to buy the AirPods max if in stock, they had all colours available, I chose the space grey. In and out within 5 minutes.
I reserved a space grey one at 6am and asked if they had sky blue in stock when I picked up at 12. They told me that sky blue is in a low stock, then I exchange the space grey for sky blue. They told me some stock are reserved for walk-in purchase, even though there is no stock when you check it out online for pickup. The location is Apple Valley Fair in the Bay Area. Its a lucky day.
my target preorder says the same thing, no movement at all. Im worried it may not ship for a long long time after seeing they dont even have homepod minis yet.
Just in case anybody lives in Boston or a southern New Hampshire area, the Rockingham Park store in Salem New Hampshire has them for pick up tomorrow. Everywhere else in the region is sold out
Wow your pics have me rethinking my purchase. They didn't have blue at my store so I went for SG rather than wait for blue. I was worried it was going to be a super light blue like your keyboard, but it is much more subdued.

Checked my local Apple Store (NY) this morning and they had SG APX available for two hour courier delivery.

At the time of writing this (8:38 EST) there are some Pink in stock at WTC and the Westfield Mall in Paramus NJ.
If you weren't able to get a pair today, keep checking your local stores tonight and in the coming few days - some stock may show up. Returns, canceled pick-ups and whatnot.

Saw SG available at SF Union Square and Palo Alto stores this morning and afternoon, picked up a pair in SG myself, a couple others were also picking theirs up when I was at the store.
Right now I'm seeing pick ones available at the Stonestown store, so just keep checking at your local stores and they'll show up. These seem easier to find than original AirPods release.

For those hopeless European guys that were shocked that yesterday no AirPods Max available... just woke up and... voila! Available to pick up! All colors except blue in Apple Store Puerta del Sol 🙌🙌🙌 one day later, but they are finally available in store to pick up this Friday!

UK ... lots of stock available to reserve online and collect today ... went live at 6am. Even blue in some stores ! (Brighton that I’ve seen)

Nothing in central London as now in tier 3 and should be closed. Same should be true of Watford. Lots of stores towards the outskirts have stock such as Kingston as you say.
I don’t understand this. I wonder if my store has Sky blue. But I can’t reach anyone in the actual store to ask! They are couriering the products
Exactly this - my local store in Sheffield, U.K. said the same over the phone - always have some stock for walk-ins even if online says pickup not available.
