the 4.7 outsold the 5.5 by 3:1 on the 6/6s versions. Early adopters here do not represent the masses.
I think what most people are forgeting when talking about shrinking bezels is that there are actual components behind them that need place. So shrinking the bezels would mean major sacrifices in battery size and such. They opted to remove the audio jack to save space this year and feature more stuff and that is only a small percentage of what the shrinking of bezels would loose in terms of space.
You won't.No way no how can I lose the home button. It's that important
That should change next year when Apple is rumored to ditch the home button. In the meantime, Plus owners are simply putting up with the oversized footprint in favor of the bigger screen and better features. They'll look back and wonder how they've managed to do that.
The sheer ignorance of the bold is the only reason any Android device has ever sold to anyone.Plenty of Android manufacturers manage to cram pretty much the same stuff into same size enclosures. Besides it's not like these phones have to be so damn thin in the first place.

There are no rumors of such either. Just Tech Media wishlist, which is entirely worthless. People who say Apple is rumored to ditch the Home Button...they are mistaken. They've also been saying that for at least 6-7 years now.
You would think that with Apple making a MAJOR REDESIGN on the Home Button on the iPhone 7 for the first time in 10 years, would clue people in to the fact that the new style Home Button is not going anywhere anytime soon. But that incredibly obvious fact has gone right over the heads of people who still have their (horrid) vision of an iPhone with no Home Button.
