Will Google / Android ever have an iMessage type app ?

I'm only a week into the Note 8 so far, but I'm not having the trouble messaging with iMessage family members that I had in the past. It was the group messages that seemed to get all screwed up before, but hasn't happened yet... still might.

Uh yeah. I can leave my phone wherever in my house if I have my mac with me.

I tried pushbullet and mightytext in 2015ish but it wasn't the same...
