Will the iPad keyboard work with the iPhone 3GS?

no after the keynote this was asked and all ipad things DO NOT work on a iphone

thankx for the info! too bad though... would have loved to type away on that keyboard...
guess i have to jailbreak if i want that...

I can't think of a single reason why I would want to hook a keyboard up to my iPhone. The iPhone fits in my hands, I can type fast with my thumbs. It would take longer to doc it than to just type with my thumbs. I just don't see the benefit on this one.

it would have been great to type long texts for work or emails on this keyboard on my desk at home. would have been very convenient for those who dont always have their notebook around...

because the only proof we have is what, word of mouth ?

here are the facts

a) you can't purchase it yet
b) we don't have the official website link that explains compatibility, etc

until then its all speculation

Down at the "mill" the the word is that there will be a keyboard for the iPad that is compatible with the iPhone. It will roll up and fit in your front pocket.

We simply don't know yet. The support for it may be in future upgrades. I could see a jailbreak iPhone getting the driver or it, though.
