I hope so - just to irritate a bunch of you. I never notice it unless I'm on 1 of these forums.
Good God man, way to bring the atmosphere down.
making it smaller doesn't count.
With the under screen cameras getting better by the year I think it’s safe to say the Notch will be gone by 2030 at this rate. For Apple it’s just a matter of hiding the FaceID tech behind the screen or above it in the bezel, they will have to get creative.
Hopefully it won’t be as glitchy looking as the one in the new Galaxy Fold.
Hopefully a liquid lens will do away with the need for a hump, and the need for so many cameras. The notch has never bothered me.
Now that big ass fugly boil camera bump…THAT bothers me. And no, I don't use a case.
Will the fugly camera bump still be here in 2030 is the question.
This image below is the end game. The question remains: How many years will we have to wait to get it?

No denial here. When I'm using my iPhone, I'm focused on the content which is in the center of the screen. I don't stare at the top for no reason and only glance up there to check the time. If you're focused on the notch, "you're using it wrong".The notch is butt ugly. You can't unsee it.
Some people are good at denial, though: "I don't even notice it anymore!"
LOL. Right.

"I paid $1,500 for this phone, so I'm going to pretend I don't notice the notch every single day, and I will also pretend that I'm not pretending not to notice the notch."
So everyone that claims that they don’t notice it after a while, me included, are lying to you and the whole world, and to ourselves as well?
I don't know. What would you rather have, a phone with a notch or a phone without one?
Well clearly, judging by your previous posts above, you do know exactly what we are all thinking. Thank God(c) you know because obviously we have no idea what we think about our own phones. I had no idea I had been in denial for all this time until you came along and told me, and the rest of us, what we really are thinking.
