Will there new a new sub form for iMac Pro?

We have iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Mini now. The iMac Pro does not fit in any of these 3 categories. Or will we just use the Mac Pro area for the iMac Pro.

We have not had any discussions about creating a separate iMac Pro sub forum. At this point, those discussions should be in the iMac section.

Well lets hope those "discussions" happen soon. So an actual answer to the question can be shared with everyone here.

I haven't seen this discussed her yet, so I thought I'd throw out the question...

On the Forums, will the iMac Pro get its own position under Desktops, or will we try to jam it in under Mac Pro, or under iMac?

Perhaps the moderators have already decided, but I'm curious whether the regulars here have an opinion.

Well, the MacBook and MacBook Pro have distinct threads, so the iMac Pro should do too, I'd have thought.

Can we soon be expecting an iMac Pro forum given the product launch is imminent?

iMac Pro could probably use its own sub-forum.

It's substantially different from both the Mac Pro's -and- "regular" iMacs -- in that discussion about it will be pertinent to neither of the above.

Although having said that, iPad and iPad Pro should probably be separate sub-forums too?

I would have hoped it would have been in the Mac Pro section because that is its target audience

I, too, believe that an iMac Pro section would be helpful. The iMac Pro has almost completely different hardware and therefore different features and problems.

Another vote for iMac Pro section, though sometimes it's helpful for others to chime in who may have otherwise stayed out of the iMac sub-forum.

I am sure that Administration Staff will be open minded enough to re-evaluate this request now that more iMac Pro owners are sharing their first hand experiences. This new iMac Pro has quite some unique features ...
Just my humble reflection...
