I am not scared that the small sized phone will go. SE in its current form might be over soon.
I feel confident, especially when I hear the large phone owners try to knock the small form factor down.
Why do they fear the compact form so? o_O

the head phone jack is not comeing back
Neither are USB-A, so buy a few and save :)

I find the huge phones cumbersome… and, yes, inelegant.

I never understand the antagonistic stance. Live and let live.
I don't disparage your use of large phones.
Surely you don't feel threatened by the existence of this "small" phone… now do you?

I hope it continues in its small size — whether it is the same form or has a headphone jack, I really can't care.
It's the size of it that is the attraction to me.

It's not all about price people.
The big phones are shivering out of the SE’s competition. Small is dangerously elegantly concentrated and compact :D

As much as I hate to face the fact the headphone jack is extinct with Apple, I have to agree with your post.

The Only reason we know for sure the headphone jack isn’t coming back, because Multiple Apple executives themselves stated that the 3.5 Jack was “Antiquated and taking up valuable space”, even though millions of iPhone user still use wired headphones every day, that quote alone shows how they feel about it in moving forward with technology in new iPhone models. But for now, at least the SE still supports it.

I've said it before, I am happy with my 7 plus but really like the SE - it combines a lot of good features that I like about Apple products. Elegant and ergonomic design coupled with decent and efficient hardware. A great thing about iOS12 is it seems likely to give the current SEs a new lease on life and, unless Apple surprises us with a new "SE" which is unlikely, will keep it on the market at a good price for those who want an iOS device without a premium price. I've also told the forum before I believe how I advised my friend who got me into Apple in the first place to replace his crappy 5C with the SE as he hates the big phones.
