It's likely to the be Tile competitor, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg Tweeted about it yesterday. He received a pair of Bose headphones with built in tracking from Tile. They sent a card that read:

"whether you're on your way to Cupertino, or your last adventure of the summer, don't forget about your headphones with built in Tile finding power"

Tile seem to be convinced that Apple will be announcing a competitor to their Tile device.

I'm a bit sore about this I bought them with my own money and they cost $150, i.e. not cheap to be handed out for free like that.

However I had absolutely no idea they had Tile built-in and once I found out how Tile works it blew my mind - saved my ass around 4-5 times. They are absolutely right about Apple not going to reinvent the wheel with whatever they come up.

I can understand being annoyed about the fact that Tile has handed these out for free, however it's marketing and to remind people who are attending Apple's event that Tile exists. I think Tile are getting worried that that Apple might be entering into their area with a Tile like-device. They are right to be worried, with the amount of iPhone's out there.

We will have to see what happens but I think it's a good idea by Apple to be entering into this area.

If tile is gonna be their "one more thing" this will be probably the most embarrassing event so far. I really don't see how this fits the innovation theme at all. And all of that while they're surrounded by competitor events ready to push the envelope even further.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the usefulness of Tile or similar products. Yet still its a minor contribution to convenience. I also understand, that innovation doesn't always need to be groundbreaking. I seriously hope though it's gonna be more than that, otherwise I'm slowly losing my hope in that company...

It’s going to be underwhelming I’m sure, whatever it is...

If not, it’s the best kept secret in today’s world of product “leaks”.

Yeah, when it comes to the leaks I'm not overly positive... why in hells name would they go for that innovation theme...

Thats a very good point. Everything that we know about the new products to be announced isn't what you could call innovative so what is it that Apple have up their sleeve for announcement on Tuesday that they consider to be innovative. Last time i remember a new innovative product being announced that no-one knew anything about was AirPods

It’s because a lot of people get overhyped, often by leaks that happen. Years ago when leaks didn’t happen as often there were many surprises at Apple keynotes.

The iPhone 11 Pro will probably have a great camera, however I will have to watch the keynote to decide if it’s going to be worth upgrading from my iPhone X. If not I will keep my X for another year. Maybe upgrade my iPad Pro from the 2017 to the new one instead.

You're asking a question that can’t be answered yet, because we haven’t watched the keynote . We have no idea what they’re introducing that could be innovative besides what we already expect. (Examples could be future discussion of Apple Watch health features, augmented reality features and/or the Apple glasses that will eventually be here.)

You're right, I'm getting ahead of myself.

In my defence, I was stating this under the assumption that the rumors turn out to be true and there'll be no more than what is already known.
