You want $50 leather but will be complaining if the quality isnt good. You get what you pay for.

Wrong! $50 leather band can look good and last as much as any other expensive leather band. It all depends how you take care of it.

No difference in quality at that price point, fwiw I think I saw a post while back were someone pointed that the apple classic buckle it's glued and not stitched  now that's far from quality if true.
Well all know Apple is a you get what you pay for type of company. Don't expect Apple to make leather bands at $50 when the market states they should be priced at $150 dollars because these items are hand made and the materials cost more. They are in business to make a reasonable profit of around 30%-35%. We all know this and yet we try to nickel and dime all the time.

If you can buy one of the $50 leather bands, then skip the Apple leather band. Apple doesn't have a $50 leather band but other companies do have a $50 leather band that is already shipping with smaller delays.

Apple doesn't do less than 30% margin product. You know what you are getting. Other Apple approved companies are willing to fill in the low end accessory market for Apple.

I doubt we will see any new bands anytime soon. The watch isn't even readily available, or even in stores yet. Maybe in 6 months

As Apple hasn't shared any sales data yet, we don't know how popular these are with the kids yet. If they are, then Apple will want to get in on "Back to School" shopping - and should get them out pre-September.

Kids are not buying a $350 watch. I'm sorry but it's just not in the cards for them.

Just a thought in the final hours before WWDC. Tim has significantly hinted that women will be presenting at today's keynote. Therefore, I was thinking, about two months ago, we saw those different colour Sport Band's at the Milan Show.

Perhaps we could get Angela launching the new Watch Band's today at WWDC. Since the bands are now becoming more into circulation and it could be a chance to launch new bands.

Thoughts?

I would love more colors of sport bands. They're very comfortable and go well with casual attire. I'd like navy blue, orange, red, yellow. I have some cheap 3rd party sport bands in other colors from eBay that need adapters, but quality isn't anything close to Apple's.

I wouldn't be surprised if more sport band colours at least are announced today. I'd really like a navy one and a red one to go with my space grey sport

I would be instantly buying the dark navy and orange to go with my "en-route and yet delivered" Space Gray apple watch! :D - was thinking of getting the black or blue leather loop... but if those colours are available... wow! :D

I think new colours of Watchband would be about the easiest thing for Apple to deliver.

Some folks are expecting a major OS update, but given that the thing has been shipping 6 weeks that seems optimistic to me.

I expect an SDK, and a bunch of announcements of the future, but actual deliverables tomorrow? Not a lot.

Can't see this happening today; they are still having trouble getting all of the bands out to those that want them. Would love more options; I just don't think we will see it.
