For me personally its better as I have a "music" folder and "video" folder so I keep those apps in the related folder now. iPod was a lovely thing to have, but ultimately all the features & use ability is still there, just split into two separate apps now. Anyway, I still have and use two iPod nanos so no complaints here. The only thing I'm yet to decide on is head unit connectivity with my Alpine hu.

My 'music' has issues after the iOS 5 update. Songs not playing, even the accelerometer isn't re-orienting the visual selections. The controls do not function either. No forwarding or going back. Play not working. Totally buggy. It really sucks! Re-booting, re-syncing does nothing. iOS 5.0.1 please, hurry.

I miss the iPod. :(

Manually back up the phone. Then restore it and let it clean install the OS. After that it will restore your last back up and you should be set. It can take an hour or two if you're like most of us with over 12gb of stuff on your phone.
