I have the beta installed on my aluminum MacBook and most things are working okay. I can't get the eject button to work for some reason and I can't get my bluetooth apple keyboard or mighty mouse to connect. Is anyone else having bluetooth issues?

I made a thread about Windows 7 yesterday. I can't find it now for some reason. The heck?
Anyway, mine installed pretty smoothly except for audio which I did manage to fix with some help here. Eject worked fine after I installed the Boot Camp drivers. I haven't tried Bluetooth yet, sorry.

how did you finally get the audio working ?
I've found that manually installing specific drivers usually does the trick, since there are no windows 7 drivers available on the the Leopard disk. I would manually install the 32 bit vista drivers.
has anyone here gotten their bluetooth apple keyboards or mighty mouse to connect? I'll try the manual install later. It shows up as discoverable and says it connects to the mouse but the mouse doesn't do anything. I was able to use the mouse and keyboard during installation but not afterwards.
I'm seriously thinking about doing this, it sounds great! However, if the eject button doesn't work, how do you get discs out? I hope I don't have the BT keyboard issues, as I have a Logitech wireless keyboard set (S530 for Mac), and it uses a USB receiver. How much space does the install take?
I acutally had that fixed with manually installing the keyboard driver. Still no luck with the Bluetooth though. I also noticed I have a exclamation on the Device Manager under Coprocessor and SM Bus Controller. Any idea on what I need to do for those?
Well it's good that that works, but where do you find these drivers? Do you just get them from the Mac OS X disc, or do you download them from somewhere else?
Im still on the fence about trying windows 7 so early. It looks great with the libraries and stuff (much better than the way iPhoto manages pics, imo), but a reinstall is just too much work for something thats still beta.

I have to say, it works blummin well! Setup was a breeze and the whole system seems so much more robust and stable than vista.
Well, got it, just putting it on DVD now. Hopefully it will work well, but not sure. Fingers crossed! I can install it using Boot Camp can't I? But where do you get those drivers?
works great. I didn't use bootcamp I had a drive laying around so I did a windows only install. I don't have audio at the moment but I will correct that soon. The drivers I used were the 32bit vista drivers on the leopard CD. I installed them manually. I believe most others did install using boot camp. My windows index score did drop to 3.0 which is odd
Your score probably dropped because the drivers arent all there or arent 100% correct for the system. You can expect it to be back up once the final build of win7 is out.

I installed the HD Vista drivers from the Realtek site. Well actually not the Realtek site, because it's unbelievably slow. I Googled the filename while waiting for them to download and found them somewhere else.
I have the dual boot setup on the uni body macbook. I installed bootcamp after the 7 install and have no issues with sound or anything.
Windows 7 seems to be borrowing some ideas from Os X as far as the taskbar goes, which is great in my opinion. If you go to the bottom right corner of the screen with your mouse it turns all the windows transparent, almost like swiping four fingers up for the expose. Its actually pretty cool. Not as neat as expose however in my opinion.
Anyone installing make sure to go into the performance section in the control panel and have your system tested. I'm not sure if this is normal but mine was not done at first so I had to manually do it. All the eye candy stuff will be turned off until your system is tested.

No I'm having a problem with it. It says it's connected to my keyboard and mouse but neither of them function.

Are all of you installing using bootcamp, or has anyone done it using parallels or VMware? I tried installing using parallels, but to no avail. Any successes? Any tricks? I just tried to do it at a standard vista installation. It seemed to install fine, but when it rebooted, it just hung on the starting windows screen for a good 45 minutes or so (I wasn't sure if it was installing things behind the scenes).
I really need to keep my XP bootcamp partition, so I'd love to use a virtual machine....

I have only been a mac user since the new ones came out. I don't have experience using parallels. I erased my Vista partition to install Windows 7 beta using Bootcamp. No idea how to use a virtual machine either.. Did you just do the UPGRADE option? You might want to try the complete install.
I agree this is supposed to be a different product. I wouldn't use the upgrade option
Well, it installed great! Just used Boot Camp in the normal way. In fact, I'm on it now, and although it's not as good as Mac, it's far better than Vista. I don't have the bluetooth issues as it's recognizing my iMac's internal bluetooth, but I don't have an Apple BT Keyboard. The only issue was that it failed to recognize the graphics card, but 10mins later, it finds the 'nVidia 8800M GTS', although this could have something do with the fact I had the Leopard Install Disk 2 inside at the time, although it wouldn't run. Otherwise, I have had no issues to speak of, and I would recommend it to those who don't like Vista, and don't want XP. However, where are these sound drivers? Also, my iSight isn't working, can you please give links?
I actually just created a new virtual machine. When I refer to doing it as a Vista install, there are options for which OS you are installing, and I thought the vista option would be easiest. I'll try again with another option. I would imagine it should be doable.
