More pathetic *LTD* drivel. He even lied about the title of the article. At this rate, he could be the next propaganda minister for Faux News!

Texas, unfortunately.
MSFT and its generally third-rate products seem to encourage MSFT bashing on APPLE FANSITES. Wow. No one saw that coming! Geez . . .
And there you have it.
Why does a Windows fan join a Mac fansite?
Not necessarily a Windows fan. Perhaps someone who recognizes that Windows isn't complete crap? (Which is definitely how it's touted around here by so many people.) I can understand someone complaining about their problems with Windows, but to generalize that the whole OS is useless and "third-rate" is very arrogant and unfounded.

... Perhaps someone who recognizes that Windows isn't complete crap? ...
I love these ringing endorsements of their favorite OS from Windows fans:
  • It's not complete crap.
  • Windows is not that bad.
What next? It doesn't kill puppies?

Look. There are people here who pass-up few opportunities to bash Apple, its products, and their fans while leaping to the defense of Windows, Microsoft, and Microsoft management. That's not being evenhanded; that's being a mother.

From what I know, MSFT is going to announce on Jan 27 that Windows 7 has been a smashing success. The real story is what the next quarter is going to be, it looks like the economy is beginning to pick up. MSFT needs Office 2010 to sell like crazy.

Does it?

U.S. Job Losses in December Dim Hopes for Quick Upswing

The nation lost 85,000 jobs from the economy in December, the Labor Department reported Friday, as hopes for a vigorous recovery ran headlong into the prospect that paychecks could remain painfully scarce into next year.

“We’re still losing jobs,” said Dean Baker, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington. “It’s nothing like we had in the free fall of last winter, but we’re not about to turn around. We’re still looking at a really weak economy.”

The economy is bottoming out right but economists predict that 3rd quarter will be the start of a new boom.

I do find your reflexive MSFT bashing tiring. Reading only your comments, a person would be led to believe all MSFT products are trash and no one has ever been productive with them. :(
just write ltd off as an apple troll because that is exactly what he is. Remeber you can not have an intellgent discussion with a troll because their brains are to small. They a stupid creatures who give a bad name to apple fans.

The point is Windows 7 has achieved greater market share then OSX in just 2 months.

meh, quantity vs. quality.

Commodity computer market will always sell more crap. Apple has never been concerned with that area so to compare market share is pointless.

Yeah go tell that to the guy who has had 9 iMac 27" replacements and still NONE working properly...

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/846158/

We should have a count of how many iMacs 27 in total have been replaced to users of these forums and how many of the same users have had a defective computer replaced by another defective computer.

Let's get this straight:

Windows machines are still the source of 92% of the web browsing that this company monitors...

Browsing under Mac OS was still at 5% and ...

Mobile OS's comprise just over 1%, with Java phones slightly leading iPhones.

I'd say that the last sentence is far more surprising than finding out that Windows is still far and away the most popular browsing platform.

Every previous Windows release (apart from Vista) increased Microsoft's market share. That's why this matters.

I heard that they showed the guy this ad and he is now convinced it's all Microsoft's fault. :p

Joke aside, it would be fun if Microsoft hired this guy to do a parody of the Broken Promises Ad -

Mac Guy : Hey new iMac is here, it's not going to have any of the problems the earlier one had.

iMac Owner: I think I've heard that one before.
