Back on track. Has anyone had the incredible laggy mouse syndrome leading to complete system lag? I'm using Windows 7 Professional, full release (not even release candidate but full release) installed on a mac pro with bootcamp 2.0 or 2.1 whatever the latest 2.x update is for leopard bootcamp.
Your problem is that you're running Windows on a mac. Apple's drivers are HORRIBLE, and by HORRIBLE, I mean they shouldn't even include drivers, they're just that bad. If it works, that's great, but more often then not they don't work, and you're F'ed.
Try going to device manager and uninstalling the Apple mouse drivers, and use generic Windows ones. Also, try uninstalling all Apple drivers that you don't need.
If I were in your situation, I'd just wipe and restart. I couldn't get wireless to work on my vista system, I wiped, and it worked out of the box... sometimes Windows can be like that. Then only install the Apple drivers that you NEED. Where ever possible, use generic or manufacturer drivers. That's what I had to do for my MBP, but then Windows worked great.
EDIT: Something you should keep in mind is that (as of Leopard's release) Apple doesn't have their drivers Windows certified, which means that MS doesn't guarantee that they'll work with Windows.
