some of you guys are such fanboys.

Microsoft is simply introducing a new way of desktop computing. The IT community and home user will decide how far it can go and what we can do with it.
we are fanboys because we dont like the idea behind thier system?

i cant see the practicality in destop OR laptop touchscreens, and from what theyve shown this is going to be the one "big" difference from vista. Thats why i dont like the idea, not because "zOMG!!11 teh Vis@s iz teh sUxorz! M$ is like, uber gay"

Yes, I had one of those Tablet PC's when they first got introduced. My writing is bad now because all I do it type.

It was taking much longer to write stuff in rather than just type it.... :eek:

Multitouch screens are great to have in certain applications though - you need a good GUI for it though...

Most people on this thread have made reasoned arguments as to why they don't think that MS's implementation of multi-touch will be a success. If you disagree, feel free to argue otherwise.

BTW, calling people 'fanboys' isn't a reasoned argument.
