I think the wording may say you are only allowed to use it on three of your own machines, but since I don't have the student teacher version, I don't know what the packaging says about the three licenses, someone else who has the student teacher edition can probably look at that for you.
The additional keys are restricted to members of the same household.

I kinda dont think Microsoft cares, since they allow us to sell the Student and Teacher version to anyone
This is emphasized by the fact that Office 2007 no longer has a S&T version, but has a Home and Student version which is available to anyone for home use but also no longer includes Outlook. (Which is OK by me since I currently have a love/hate relationship with Outlook which is in a hate phase.)
