Ahh, I was going to venture out for it; however, a beer that specific from the ye olde continent, is likely unfindable for me.
St Bernardus (they have a small range of excellent beers brewed to Trappist standards - indeed, they actually started out as a Trappist brewery) are fairly widely available, certainly in Europe, unlike some of the more obscure (but still excellent), Belgian beers.

While available in Europe, I'm at the mercy of the beer importers. Hopefully, soon enough, I'll be back to the states.

Angry Orchard (teh 'Green Apple' varietal); interspersed with bog-standard Guinness Stout (the direct origin of which has become somewhat confusing over the past decade (CA, USA or IR?!?).

I tried Sake and this one was particularly very good, very flowerish. I’ll try to find it when I’m back home. Oh and the Chassagne was amazing with sushi and sashimi. The chef loved it he was saying oishii at every sip and NANITE KOTODA haha (OMG).

While in Germany and Switzerland this past week I had a rather large assortment and large quantity of beers that I don't have access to here in the states. All I can say, is Oktoberfest was a freaking hoot! Had an absolute blast and drank a lot of german beer!
Sounds as though you had a brilliant time.

I'm impressed (and not a little envious).
