If we go by rumors, this year's iphones will be thinner and lighter in the entire lineup. I still think it will be heavier than the SE2 but not by much. 154 g.

This is fun! Is the winner whoever is truly closest, or are you out of the running if you went over (Price is Right style)?
It wasn't specified so I don't think you should be out, but maybe if the answer is in between two guesses and no one actually guessed that weight, then the one on the lower side should win

I would say 153.7 g , by proportionally comparing the current Iphone 11 weight and dimensions.

You're correct - - The Price is Right rules apply to this contest - - closest without going over is the winner.

What they need to do is 3 things...

1. Get rid of the glass back
It only adds undo weight, it should be replaced by aluminum or titanium.
2. Get rid of the copper wireless charging coils
It only adds undo weight, it should be recycled and turned in pennies for circulation
3. Bring Back the Gun!!!
🤠
I am going to find a way to create aluminum replacement housings for the iPhone 12 mini, and make the iPhone that Steve Jobs would of wanted...less weight more freedom. Instead of more weight and communism.

170 g on the high end, don't imagine lower than 165 g IMO, but of course this is total speculation. 170 g will be my guess

I'm looking for the 5.4" phone. 2 years ago I swore I got tendonitis or phantom wrist soreness. The only thing I could trace it to was the iPhone X being hefty. I know the motherboard was double-layered, but the device was definitely hefty. I'm hoping for around 138g, but it'll probably be more.

Hey Dhonk - I empathize with your comment about wrist issues, that's why I'm leaning 5.4" too. You didn't explicitly enter a guess in the contest, but 138g has already been taken. If you wish to play, please add or subtract a bit and I will add you to the list.

166 grams because it's bound to be in between the 2020 SE and the 11.
We will know the answer in less than 5 days, but based on this pic from an earlier MacRumors article, I'm still hoping the 5.4" will weigh less than the new SE.

113 g - SE (2016)
148 g - SE (2020)
174 g - X
194 g - 11

pcdtech: May I change my guess to 145g?

Sorry, no changes are permitted. (If they were, I would change my own guess from 151g down to 142g. ;) )

Ok, I only ask because I didn’t know we were playing Price is Right Style.
