Wipr and Filtr

Would you recommend Wipr and Filtr for my M4 Mac Studio? Im currently using ADGuard, their VPM and Malwarebytes. Id like to keep Malwarebytes, but ditch the AdGuard products what would you recommend.
 
I use and like Wipr and noticed the same dev. came out with his paid Filtr app that filter everything, not just Safari. Have not tried it out though.

Not as much a fan of MWB as I used to be and no longer use it. Seemed like it started out as a nice, free side project for the dev. then over time became a subscription service. With macOS built in X-Protect malware protection, I don't think MWB is really necessary any more.

What about AdGuard and AdGuard VPN?
 
I use Wipr but since moving to Tahoe I've noticed Sponsored adds being shown in the browser (Safari) version of Facebook. Prior to Tahoe they only on occasion appeared in the top right area and refreshing would immediately get rid of them. This doesn't seem to work anymore.

Come to think of it, also in Facebook, clicking on links I only get a shimmering shade of grey window until loading with content blocker OR loading without content blocker. Either one and that link shows properly. No idea if this is a Facebook, Tahoe or Wipr issue.

Can't comment on Filtr as I haven't committed to buying it as yet.

Edit: Actually Facebook has been extremely slow to load each page. After restarting my router it's immediately quick again but after a few hours we're back to a snails pace.
 
I used to use to Wipr but noticed they miss a few things so I bought a lifetime license for AdGuard and haven't looked back. Works like a charm! I don't use the VPN though.
 
I have Wipr and Filtr. I don’t use Filtr however, since it blocked a bunch of things it shouldn’t have on my Mac. Neither iCloud settings nor macOS updates would load at all, among other bizarre problems. After troubleshooting other suspects, disabling Filtr restored regular operation.
While I am on Tahoe, Filtr has been hit or miss on iOS 27 beta.
It may be redundant, but I employ Wipr, Ghostery, and 1Blocker.
