It's a power supply for powerbook, not a wifi access point.
I have one of those for our pb G3, except with a AUS/NZ/FIJI plug of course. ;) I think that is better than the new design as the cord wraps up neater... But seeing as the voltage has changed, the new design avoids confusion :) As well as its little orange/green LED.

But after that first night.. things seem to be working a bit better.. I havent had any connection issues when I moved my laptop to my room 2 floors up...so all is good.. and lovin my mac..

But Im having some weird back issues from bending my neck so mcuh! lol
