99.5% 0f my work utilizes Outlook, Teams and a web browser. On my most recent trip to Germany from the US to host training session, I took just the 12.9" iPad Pro. It worked perfectly for everything I needed including screen sharing with some USB attachment box the plant uses for projection. I'm really glad. everything worked as needed. and I didn't need to take the company issued Dell "Bricktop"

I always bring my IPP with me, whether is traveling by car or plane. My MBP pretty much always stays at home, although since the OP is going to be doing work, I would bring the laptop to do the heavy lifting. I typically leave my MK at home when traveling as I’m usually just using my IPP for web browsing and video consumption.
