Thanks for the advice. Seeing as you guys are in a giving mood, I'll continue the threadjack: I'm currently specced retribution. I mostly solo PvE, so the DPS plus healing works for me. I want to start doing more instances though (need better gear), and I've heard rumblings that a DPS pally is not always what people are looking for in a group. Also, I was thinking about respeccing to a healadin anyway as the gameplay for a DPS was getting a little repetitive and I wanted to try something different. Long story short, should I wait for the WotLK expansion and the talent wipe before respeccing, or do you think that I should respecc now and start working on gathering healing gear? I'm leaning toward waiting but am interested in others thoughts.

a prot pally is the best tank in the game ATM.

Simply not true. They are the best at multi-mob tanking for sure. However, Warriors and Druids are far superior for Single Mob tanking, in terms of threat production and survivability.

I've never gone full prot for more than a week. DPS all the way.

I never felt like DPS warriors brought enough to a small group, they can be useful sure but most of the time another DPS class would have served better.

In raids on the other hand I've seen fury warriors get close to top of the charts, depending on what you're raiding.

I've always enjoyed both aspects though, so the 100g a week on respecs is worth it to me. :)
