WOW Runs quite well on the 320M in windows. Its OSX performance is much worse however. If you intend to WOW your gonna want to bootcamp, the difference is very noticeable.

You may want to re-think installing it on an Air... ;)

When I installed windows on my mac, I was afraid of the space needed...so the only way I could think of to play was to transfer the WoW folder onto my External HD and play it from there... it runs like a charm.

Mac sucks for gaming... I only use windows for SC2, Wow and Assassins Creed...

I'm damn sure I spent my money well and I sure as hell don't need someone like you telling me what to do.

Now go get a clue.

Someone is defense about overpaying

Really, it play well on a external HD ? You don't have too much loading time while going into dungeons and porting ?

yup...it runs great...virtually no lag except for some hick-ups here there..the game may freeze for a second or two...but nothing terrible

1 or 2 seconds in Wow can lose you the fight/raid/tournament or whatever ;)
Also, because it's Massively Multiplayer Online game, the ssd really helps in cases where there's a lot of people around you (like big cities etc). If you play it from an external hdd, euh... I don't suggest it.

I actually do this too. Wow on a 30GB partition with a stripped down windows 7 version. 60 fps on low/medium.

Doesn't OS X just take up about 15gb? So even with a 128gb SSD losing 28gbs to WoW you'd have lots of room for other files. I store most of my documents and work files externally and use Hard Drive storage for apps only.

If you want gaming, you should get the 15" MacBook Pro. The Air and 13" Pro will not get you by.

I figured that...but I'm not a raider so I don't care at all... I'd much rather have more important stuff on my mac than WoW...

I still don't get people who buys a 1500+ ultra portable Mac laptop and puts windows on it so they can play games on it...

Get a clue and buy a proper gaming laptop instead.

That's because you, apparently, are not very bright. Use your brain a bit and you might figure it out. No offence.
