I found WoW to be, I think, the best game that I've ever played. Leveling up from 1-70 was both rewarding and fun, even if you're only playing a few hours per week.
Things change however once you hit 70, there are fewer single player quests, so you really have to find extra time to complete group quests (time to find a group plus time to complete the group quest). Then there is raiding, unless you can allocate a blocks of time between, normally, 6pm-10pm then you're not going to join a guild and you're not going to go raiding.
I quit WoW a few weeks after I hit 70. I might go back when the new expansion is released.

It also helps if all your friends play it too. And you go raiding with them. :D

Hello my name is Shockbit, level 70 raiding warlock on Silver Hand, and I'm a WoW addict.

The internet really is a small world! I'm a 70 mage on Silver Hand. What guild are you in?

Im a 46 Night Elf Hunter in Zul'jin. WOW has to be the best game ive ever played. But be careful because it is really addictive. If you were really addicted to any other games you should not play this. I know how to balance out my gameplay time so it doesnt interfere with my life.

whats the migration assisstant like? is it any good? because the one from windows xp sucked lol.

Migration assistant works very well. When you get a new Mac it will ask you if you want to import users/applications/network settings from your old Mac. You can also run the Migration Assistant program manually from within the 'Utilities' folder in the 'Applications' folder if you want to do it later.

Drivers that install a kernel extension will have to be reinstalled (I had to reinstall my mouse driver), but other than that everything on your new computer should be just like on your old computer.

Patch 2.3 is live today. This patch is very much geared towards casual players and alts.

The problem with Warcraft, well at least it was when i played, was that the game isn't very rewarding for "casual" players.

If you want high end content and game items, you really need to grind it out in a pve or pvp guild/group that also does the grind. Otherwise your stuck in a mediocre guild or possibly in a very good guild still...no one's going to give you 1st dibbs if you don't have your DKP built up...which pretty much means your SOL no matter how you look at it.

I've met people that don't mind casual playing, but when you look at the guilds and individuals that get the best and get it first. It's just not achievable by casual playing.

This is where the addiction takes place. You want better stuff? well your not going to get it by logging out :p

I quest almost exclusively solo, so I'll be keeping a close eye on how the new patch plays (just getting back on tonight after 3 weeks dark with a 60 hunter main and nine alts). It would be nice to think I might have a chance at doing some of the places that no one ever wants to do anymore.

I hope they've fixed the fershlugginer sound glitches that cropped up after the Brewfest patch, though. What an ungodly mess that was.
