Is it true that the game got made easier recently? My friend who's been a big big big time player since the beta days says that Blizzard made levelling from 20-60 a hell of a lot easier in patch 2.something. I've definitely found it easier this time around and quicker but that could just be because I've done it before.
Patch 2.3 made it easier to level, yes. They also reduced difficulty of some mobs throughout the world.

When people ask for 'healers' does that mean that that character doesn't ever attack enemies, they just stand at the side trying not to draw any threat from anyone and heal the rest of the group?
That's a healers job. If you're specced for it (through talents) you're not going to want to do anything else. If you're not specced for it, you're not going to do very good healing. :)

Arenas have it much more viable to be a healer outside raids.
Especially Druids and Priests are atleast on my server has a very easy time getting a good arena team.

I'm playing a druid atm and I get asked atleast 2-3 times a day if i wanna join an arena team ( i got like 6 teams i regularely play in)

Some people seem to be missing what seems to be an obvious attempt at (poorly word) humor.

Either way, there have been global top-tier guilds that raid 4 nights a week for 4-6hours. Add in farming for consumables (a joke with dailies) and it'll probably be another hour a day if you do dailies everyday.

Then again, good luck finding intelligent people to raid with. The norm is definitely for long raid hours if you want progression. If not, expect long, frustrating raids with casual guilds.

Honestly, having to depend on 24 other idiots to perform is like asking for pain and then pretending you like. If masochism is your thing, feel free to raid in WoW.

Cool. They do still get XP and the drops off enemies though, right? What kind of things should I be looking at maxmimising and focussing on in talents?
