Not quite sure what that’s supposed to mean...
Your Avatar says Down South hence just asking, are you Down South as in Down Under or what ?

Apple isn't changing the manufacturing process for the new iPad. Ergo, waiting for 3 months is rather useless.
Using a site like chipmunk is not really productive.
You are trying to make the buying process harder than it should be. Go purchase the iPad. Check it before you leave the store. If there is a problem, tell someone and get another. If it should bend after purchase and you are concerned, take it to Apple for assessment. Real easy.

The real issue here is, and many still dont get it unfortunately, is that the LTE models all have minor bend at the shorter end of the iPad on both sides. This issue has been well acknowledged by Apple themselves as well. They have indicated in their release notes that slight minor deviations are to them normal.
Hence back to original poster question as to whether or not the bend will be rectified, that is hard to tell. And I would like to know as well.

Buying into a fabricated frenzy is a waste of your time. Go buy your iPad and enjoy it rather than listening to all the bluster and nonsense coming from people that clearly have their own bias and agenda against Apple, the new iPad Pros, or are simply here as agitators to troll and sow lies for their own entertainment. All of you guys showing genuine curiosity if time is gonna change it or not, all I can say is stay tuned to this thread ! lol ! As it is still some time before I buy it lol !!
I honestly don't see what the issue is here.
Buy the iPad and check it in store. If its not bent then keep it. If it is then return on the spot.
So how will you get the manufacture date on an iPad without the iPad serial number etc?
In your first post you state you will wait a full quarter before you make your purchase.
You will then check the production date.
But what's the point of checking the production date if you've already made the purchase? You may as well check that the ipad is perfectly straight at that point, no??
Im done with this thread. Honestly I find this way over the top to the point where its silly.
Just my opinion of course.
Rather then get personal with your sarcastic comments, I'll stick to topic.
So you check production batch, but the underlying fact is that this may not have any impact whatsoever on whether the actual unit is bent or not. No?
So the only way you can actually be sure is to open the box....
Seriously, you're going way OTT.
Since you don't have an official Apple store but rather resellers, it's pointless to wait. Reseller stores get the products updated more slowly, whereas with an Apple Store they get updated with fresh ones quite often.
