Worst release ever!

I always see everyone complaining about new releases but I actually run beta for years now and haven’t got any problems ever on my phone, got the iPhone X, maybe I’m just lucky ?

Lucky or in denial. Just about every recent Apple OS software release is a bug infested disaster.

Can we not have threads like these every single year?

No because there are issues with each release and discussing those issues is a major part of individuals troubleshooting their devices.

If you are that bothered by "threads like these" then stop reading them.

IF you pull down the notification screen from the top, you will see the title bar light up green like you are on a call then go away. clearing notifications too.

You cant judge if something is bad just because folk post on forums saying they have issues. People with issues will moan etc but people who are fine are less likely to go to the trouble of starting a thread to rave about something. As mentioned if all users were having the issues that folk post about on here there would be meltdown, media stories galore and american courts would be dealing with no end of class action suits at a guess.

For me? iOS 7 or 8, they were both pretty bad. iOS 4 was bad to the point of lawsuit.

iOS 7 was very stable (everything worked), but there were graphical bugs galore. Quite pathetic, really. That (5s) was the first iPhone I bought with my own money, I was mad. They fixed the issues in 7.2.1

Looking back on it, I would take graphical bugs over the types of issues we are getting nowadays.
