Go with something memorable for your Apple ID password. I’ve used a relatively short (10-character) variation of one specific thing for years. It’s exclusive to my Apple ID.

My spouse, who I’ve told both the original and subsequent passwords AND the formulation I’ve used, can’t figure it out without being reminded. Though maybe you’re spending time around more determined people 🤷🏻‍♂️

on recent versions of macOS you cannot use your Apple ID password as your login password. I would not be surprised if the same is true on iOS

I use different passwords for each and every account. Cross platform password managers make that easy enough for me.
