Actually, that could be an interesting concept for background processes (which will never happen, but one can dream :D). Though I think the way Backgrounder combined with faint glowing icons would work too.l

Hmm, I don't think you were meant to see the icons. That's why the actual "space" has a badge (kinda like a combination of all the badges? or just a badge to show how many apps have badges :/).

I would have sex with a fat girl for it.

I think it looks interesting...hopefully at least it could become a jb app. :D

Agreed. I probably wouldn't take anyone's life for this feature.

Anyone who would kill for anything iPhone related seriously needs their head looking at lol

but it does look good, makes it almost seem silly that we have to swipe through pages of app's when that looks so simple

The iPhone's paging mechanism is a sloppy way to navigate a large number of apps; being able to see all those pages at once adds nothing to organizational characteristics of paging and just throws everything in your face. Would I kill for this? No. (Spiders will die, though!) I would kill for a paging setup that breaks apps out into logical categories (based on the categories they're filed under on the App Store, maybe?) and allows navigation of those categories.

i don't understand people who have 9 pages of apps. they remind me of people who insist they NEED to have 80 GB of MP3 files on their ipod at all times. digital pack-rats, i say!

You shouldn't kill a spider for anything, spiders are our friends they kill and eat flies and other things that actually harm us and spread diseases.

I would gladly kill a billion mosquitoes though. I hate those guys.

spiders can kill people just as easily as other bugs in my opinion spiders should die i hate spiders.

as for the app finder idea i wouln't mind it but i wouldn't expect from apple either

all the people that says the icons are too small..but wouldnt you already know where all your apps are at by sorting them in certain pages..by griding them 3x3, it should list each page in order top to bottom, left to right. so its almost the same as swiping each page to get there but instead, its like a shortcut jumping to a specific page you want.

Would I kill someone if for this feature?

No.

I might kill someone at apple if they force this feature on me.

Seems pointless to me.

And I like what my home button does now as far as clicking, double clicking, etc.

This is from the creaters of Stacks, i use stacks but i dont know if i would use this, its a little bit to bussy for me i think. Here is more info about spaces.

How about a double click of the home button gives you a screen of all the apps with notifications for badge alerts only...as if an App is on the 3/5 page how do you know you have an alert? For purposes that you are at work and cannot have the phones volume on and it cannot be lighting up every minute on your desk.

I think that would be far more useful to only see the apps with Notifications. Otherwise there would be way to many. (If you're jailbroken, look into status notifier or lockinfo, gives you a way to know if you have alerts)

Categories/folders > this. It'd cut down on the number of pages. It would also keep apps together that belong together or are the same type of app.

Instead of going into Spaces to access other pages, I would rather see it giving me a "folder" page to to access my apps ie. Games, Utilities, Music, Web, Social Network etc. by double pressing the Home button. Then to move apps to folders is simply by holding the icon until it jiggles and having a menu to move to a selected folder. Now that I would kill for. ;)
