iOS 8 totally, iOS 9 on an iPhone 6 Plus is so laggy, they say it's suppose to increase the performance but it's the total opposite.

That or most people just accept it at this point, which is a shame.

I think you are spot on. The destruction of stability with new version number releases is so common now, we all just expect it. It's like the old "man bites dog" adage.

A new release version of iOS that is stable at x.0 would be news.

...snip... This also explains why nobody is taking Google/Android OEMs liable for the lack of timely security and OS updates on Android handsets. Anyway, different topic, but interesting to see.

If you dig around the Android forums, people are starting to get *very angry* and *very worried* about Android effectively never being updated on most handsets.

There hasn't been the big law suit yet, because the big breach hasn't happened yet... or maybe it is happening now but we don't know yet.

When it does happen, and it will, Google is going to be facing the largest law suit in history. They are going to be sued by everyone and everything and I could see it even destroying them. It's so obvious what must occur, and still they don't see it coming. I'd be glad to see Google go down though, as it would open up the space for some more, and hopefully real competition.

Or maybe they do see it coming and that's why they split into Alphabet. It limits their exposure somewhat and pieces may survive that way.
