I returned my M2 Pro 16” last weekend (return window closed on the 31st October) because why not going for the newest hardware? In the UK the M3 Pro it’s even less expensive, so it was a no brainer for me ✌️

Not if I had bought the M2 Pro with a discount and the other option is the M3 Pro.
However yes if it was to buy a Mac 16/40.

"Even less expensive"... because prices were raised considerably on the M2 model. The M3 Pro version is still more expensive than the M1 Pro version was back in 2021/2022. I am adding this note in case anyone thinks Apple first raising their prices and then giving a discount the year after is a good deal.

Bought a M2Pro & today is 14th day of return policy. After event last night I called Apple. They extended my return to 30 days. I ordered the new one & will be returning the current one when the M3pro arrives.
Any tips on getting that extension? Who did you call? I called their customer service 1-800-MY-APPLE to ask for an extension and they are giving me a runaround. I got my M2 MBP on October 18th. Thanks.

Do you have an Apple store nearby? They can do it in store when you buy M3. Or ask for customer relationship manager on the phone.

I called & explained that I was still in my 14 days & I would like have the latest device & how for the same money the new one gave me two more gigs of ram. She granted the 30 day extension because I ordered my online. If you bought from store, online support stressed it's up to the Store Manager to make that decision.
