Excellent, thanks for the info!
Do you connect your Mini to your iPad wirelessly, or use a cable?
Via a cable mainly as it’s better for latency, but that may depend on your connection, my wireless system isn’t great. Though it works at a push.

I would love a 15 inch iPad. Of all my Apple products, I use and love my iPads the most. I love the versatility of my 12.9 inch iPad Pro (2021/5th generation) which I use for both work and entertainment; for work, with the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, for casual/entertainment use, propped up with the Smart Folio or with a Pillow Pad on the sofa, in bed, etc. In the past I've had both a MacBook Pro and MacBook Air (each at different times) but found that I can do everything I need (personally and professionally) on the iPad. I love that when I'm not working, I can snap the iPad off the Magic Keyboard and use it without a keyboard stuck out in front and wasting space. But what would make my current set up better would be an even bigger iPad Pro. I love having lots of screen real estate--I also always get the largest sized iPhones and Apple Watches. I do also have an iPad Mini, which I use solely as an e-reader.

It all depends on the OS, I mean the 12.9 already would require a different OS, I can't imagine a 14 with the same iPadOS....

Why would +14 inch screen requires a new OS? Ideally you use 99% of your screen time in apps. Larger canvas means easier to work with complex documents/games. Split screen also benefits from larger screens. I am reviewing documents (pdfs) and would like to take notes on the side. I am sure I am not the only one that uses a iPad in that way. 12.9 inch is OK but 15+ would be better.

Well It's not just the app itself, that is fine with a bigger screen as you suggest (bigger canvas.)

I think there s already a lot of wasted space on the 12.9 (my daily driver) and I think a split-screen with just 2 apps on 14 inches would be wasted.

Also, the bigger the screen gets, the more you'll be using that device as the main one, making necessary some changes on iPad os (file manager/multitasking / home screen/background activities).

I am not talking about a specific usage like yours with I understand only need that much, but if you make the screen bigger, the cost goes up, which means more people will be using that device as the main one (or only one) so it has to become more capable.

As I said, I use a 12.9 and I feel there is already so much wasted space there, I think a redesign of the os for an even bigger screen is needed.

It's my 2 cents.
