it would be nice, but apple would never put that in the iphone, the quality would suck, direct connection is much better quality via AUX cord or cassette adpater, or through the USB cable

i could be wrong though, id never think apple would put a radio in their ipods

You're operating under the assumption that the sound quality of ipods doesn't suck in the first place. SQ was not a priority in designing these devices.

I understand the thinking, but the fact for me is that I have used 3G video calling once in three years.

i actually never used it before with my mobile. but i do think theres a possible demand for those who make contact internationally, it would be lovely to be able to use video call on my mobile through skype instead of putting my laptop on to see my family. and laptop is not that portable compared to mobile phone..

Agreed. I have had a couple of FM transmitters for my iPod and they really do suck. I prefer a direct connection.

Actually I think it depends on your car antenna. It sounds great in some cars, but not others.
