WoW Cataclysm- Is it all you hoped?
Five days premature on this post to retail, but there are those playing the beta. I got to take the grand nostalgic tour on a friends account and am always impressed with the game and especially now with the terrain changes they have made. I started in Shatrath City and flew to the portal back to Azeroth, did not notice much difference. I did not go through the entire world, but I was impressed with the sea level rise noticeable in Tanaris and Dark Shore, the large inland lake that used to be the Salt Flats and Thousand Needles North of Gadget, Ashenvale burning (sad), most of the dinos in Ungoro were awol and a new Alliance camp was located near the center, the original flight on the N. end of the zone was gone, the upheavel in the Barrons and more. Some zones are mostly unchanged.
It was fun seeing it again, but I have no desire to return on a subscription basis. I'm a little sad.
Anyone know if this is it for WoW or are there rumors of more expansions to come?
Thanks!
