I get that. Just because the site is MacRumors, that doesn't mean people should accept rumors and forum hype as fact, which is often the case. Then, people get mad at Apple because a rumor from some nitwit didn't come pan put. It's stinkin' thinking' that is the problem. That is my point.
Nothings going to change that. Wishful thinking feeds rumors, boosting wishful thinking, and so on - it's a snowballing cycle that often ends in disappointment. But in the end, so what? A bunch of unhappy posts on a forum aren't going to have some significant impact on the world.
Just trying to encourage to break their own cycle. No sense in going in circles all the time. As a retired engineer, you should get where I am coming from.
I do, really. But that's the way the world works. And it's very much the nature of forums like this populated mostly by people with strong feelings on the subject product(s). Looks much the same on Android forums, camera brand forums, OS-specific forums, etc. Populated mostly by passionate people, not the everyday users who hardly notice these things.

well there is ultimate control for example which doesn’t suck Kung Gu. Maybe one day you’d like to try that and maybe think iPadOS 15 isn’t too bad after all (yes it’s a minor update but still)?
but then despite its disappointing reveal ( it feels like one but iOS 15 felt a lot worse) at WWDC you have to agree that the fact the Mini 4 and Air 2 are still supported makes this update the best iOS/iPadOS Update ( and both of them get most of the features yes even the iPad with the weakest processor the Mini 4’s A8)? ever for a long time, not just for all the devices supported now but future ones like the coming iPad Mini 6 until iOS/iPadOS 16 and currently iOS/ iPadOS 14 supports ( including the different screen sizes for iPads) 39 devices, it will be around 45 maybe for iOS/iPadOS 15 as new iPhones/iPads and maybe a updated iPod Touch comes out
So yeah, ?
