WoW has already been demonstrated on the iPhone via a stream from a desktop computer. It could be done in a similar fashion on the iPad. So, it is not entirely unrealistic to consider the possibility of a native application for the iPad.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm sayin' it ain't gonna happen. You know this to be true, but your hope will grow so much over the next 2 months that when you find out officially that there will be no WoW on the iPad, you will be outraged and you will manifest it here on MacRumors as one of a flurry of outraged posts about how lack of WoW on the iPad represents "epic fail" on the part of Apple.

Speaking, of course, of the generic "you"....
 
All Blizzard has to do is port Wow over to the iPad with some slick touch interface for it, and you have instant success for both Blizzard and Apple.

Considering how it does not run a real OS X, most likely impossible without significant changes to the game itself....which would make it something different from the real WoW.
